Current launch status

Ankiboy is launching at A$150 plus shipping. We are collecting expressions of interest. Registering interest does not take payment or reserve a unit.

Shipping costs and a dispatch estimate will be confirmed before payment. No dispatch date is currently promised; delivery options for your country will be confirmed before you pay.

Launch interest records

When you register interest, we store your email, optional name, country, registration time and interest status. We also record available landing-page, referring-page and campaign information for your first visit and signup.

Your email-update choice is recorded separately from your interest, together with the consent wording version and applicable consent times, history and unsubscribe status. Registering interest does not create an order, reserve a unit or automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.

Anonymous visit analytics

From 2 October 2026, our first-party analytics also records fixed scroll milestones and milestones for how long a page remains visible. We use these with page views, campaign tags and signup events to understand journeys and improve the site. Background-tab time is excluded. Anonymous browsing reports do not infer your name, age, gender or precise location.

We honour your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for this analytics. We do not collect form contents, screen recordings or keystrokes for browsing analytics. Country summaries use the country voluntarily supplied on the interest form.

What we collect

Orders: when you buy, we store your name, email, shipping address, order history and the campaign or page that brought you to checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card details, only Stripe identifiers for the transaction.

Support messages: the name, email, and content you submit through the contact form, together with our replies and internal resolution status.

Email updates: if you explicitly subscribe, we record your consent, its source and your unsubscribe status. You can unsubscribe from every marketing email. Transactional order and support messages do not require marketing consent.

Analytics: we keep lightweight first-party analytics such as page views and conversion events. We use a short-lived randomly generated session id, first-touch campaign parameters stored in your browser, and a coarse browser/OS summary. We do not use Google Analytics, third-party advertising pixels, or store your full IP address against analytics events.

Device telemetry

If you own an Ankiboy device, it may send operational telemetry such as battery level, launcher version, and connectivity to help us keep devices working. This is tied to a device identifier, not your website account.

How we use it

To fulfil orders, send confirmations and tracking, provide support, keep devices updated, understand site and campaign performance, and send product updates only where consent has been recorded. We do not sell your data.

Retention & your rights

We keep order, support, analytics, and device records only for as long as needed for fulfilment, support, security, tax, accounting, and operational reasons. You can contact support to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to any records we are required to keep.
